How to request account deletion.

Step 01

In-App Request

Log in to your Sanjeevani mobile application. Navigate to 'Profile Settings' and select the 'Delete Account' option at the bottom of the page. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your request.

Step 02

Direct Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send an email to care@sanjeevani.in from your registered email address. Use the subject line 'Account Deletion Request' and include your registered mobile number for verification.

Step 03

Verification & Processing

Our team will verify your identity. Once confirmed, the account deletion process will be initiated. You will receive a final confirmation email once the process is complete.

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Personal Identification: Name, email address, phone number, and physical addresses.
  • Medical Records: Digital prescriptions, lab reports, and health history logs (SPDI).
  • Financial Info: Saved payment methods and payment instrument identifiers.
  • Preferences: App settings, notification preferences, and saved pharmacy locations.

Data That May Be Retained

  • Transaction History: Order details and invoices required for tax and regulatory audits.
  • Legal Compliance: Data necessary to fulfill statutory obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • Anonymized Analytics: Non-personally identifiable usage data used for service improvement.

Note: Retention Period: Financial and transaction records are typically retained for 7 years as per Indian statutory requirements.
