How to request specific data deletion.

Step 01

Self-Service Deletion

For certain categories like search history and saved locations, you can clear data directly within the app. Go to 'Settings' > 'Privacy Control' and select the specific data group you wish to purge.

Step 02

Detailed Deletion Request

To request the deletion of specific records (such as lab reports or old prescriptions) while keeping your account active, email care@sanjeevani.in from your registered email address.

Step 03

Confirmation

Specify the exact data points or date ranges you wish to be removed. Our data officer will review the request and confirm once the specific data has been permanently deleted or anonymized.

Data You Can Request to Delete

  • Search & Interaction Logs: Your history of searched medicines and health articles.
  • Health Records: Specific diagnostic reports or old prescription uploads.
  • Location Data: Saved pharmacy locations and delivery addresses.
  • Communication History: Support chat logs and notification history.

Data That Must Be Retained

  • Account Fundamentals: Your name and contact details (required to maintain your active account).
  • Statutory Records: Invoices, purchase logs, and controlled substance dispensing records (mandated by law).
  • Financial Logs: Records of payments and refunds for accounting and audit purposes.

Important: Note: Deleting specific medical data may impact our ability to provide certain health consultation services that rely on your historical records.
